Guasha device
Guasha device with thermode-toxification and vibrational massage.
The Guasha device with thermode-toxification and vibrational massage provides a unique skin experience by combining two powerful technologies to enhance skin health. Thermode-toxification contributes to deep cleansing and stimulates blood circulation, while vibrational massage provides relaxation and improves skin elasticity. This innovative combination helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and maintain a youthful skin appearance.
What is gua sha massage?
Gua sha massage is typically applied to the body using pressure that reddens the skin. When performed on the face, gua sha massage is much gentler. The goal of facial gua sha massage is to reduce puffiness, improve blood circulation, and rejuvenate the skin.
According to Eastern medicine, facial puffiness is caused by the retention of lymphatic fluid. For the body to be healthy, lymphatic fluid needs to move freely, without blockages. Free movement of lymphatic fluid also means faster toxin removal, resulting in even skin tone and a fresh and youthful appearance.
Facial gua sha massage applies very gentle pressure to aid lymphatic fluid movement.
What do we need to know about gua sha facial massage?
Always use gentle pressure. If the skin turns red too much, it means you are pressing too hard or not following the correct lines.
Hold the gua sha massage tool at a 15-degree angle, almost snugly (but not entirely) against the face. To do this massage, you will need a special tool resembling a spatula.
Before starting the massage, apply a little massage oil of your choice to the face - you can use regular olive oil, as well as almond oil or jojoba.
How to do a gua sha facial massage (step by step):
- Jawline: Start from the outer corner of the jaw, near the earlobe. Continue downwards, reaching the center of the collarbone. Do 3 sets of 5 movements each.
- Under the chin: From the center of the chin, massage down to the area just below the earlobe. Again, do 3 sets of 5 movements each.
- Chin: From the center of the chin (below the lower lip to the earlobe). 3 sets of 5 movements.
- Cheeks: From the corner of the nose to the middle of the ear. 3 sets of 5 movements.
- Under the eyebrows: It is important to keep the eyes and eyelids protected here. Move only along the eyebrow bone. Move from the eyebrow to the temple: 3 sets of 5 repetitions.
- "Third Eye" area: From the center between the eyebrows, where the "third eye" is, to the hairline. Do 3 sets of 10 repetitions. This part is especially useful for people with nervous system problems and insomnia.
- Low forehead: From the center of the forehead, massage to the temples. 3 sets of 5 repetitions.
- Final: The goal of this final part is to "move" all the lymphatic fluid to the terminus zone, to be transferred from the face to the body and cleared from the body. Start from the center of the upper part of the forehead and following the hairline pass behind the ear, then go down and finish in the center of the collarbone. Do 3 sets of 5 repetitions.
Continue with the same steps on the left side of the face.
The device has 2 working modes:
- Red Light: Warm massage mode, 12000 vibrations per minute, heating temperature around 45 degrees Celsius.
- Blue Light: Vibrating massage mode, 8500 vibrations per minute, aiding skincare products to be absorbed better and faster.
